On Conflicts of Interest #26, Kyle and Will go over a recent
report stating that the US military has flown airstrikes in support
of the Taliban – its supposed mortal enemy in Afghanistan – on a
limited basis at least since last year. According to US military
personnel, the strikes are only carried out to help the militant
group in battles against the Islamic State.

potentially ending a nearly decade-long conflict sparked by
President Barack Obama's push to overthrow Libyan strongman Muammar
al-Gaddafi in 2011, which has had disastrous consequences for

peace deal will hold.

fifth Arab state to recognize Tel Aviv and resume diplomatic
relations, alongside Egypt, Jordan, and – since last month – the
UAE and Bahrain. The Palestinians have condemned the deal as a stab
in the back.
